if I could be like that
I ventured on my first official grocery shopping trip for myself today. I managed to only spend 33 dollars. I think I shopped smart. My buys included:
-Toquitos (Yes, I don't know what they are either but they seemed to look okay)
-A supreme pizza for one (the kind with cubes of pepperoni! :)
-Tostitos and Salsa
-Turkey lunchmeat and provolone cheese.
-The bread that you slice yourself!
-Pepperoni and cheese calzone
-Chicken Enchilada
-Waffle Fries!!
-Tyson chicken that is breaded.
-Raisin Bran
-Dr. Thunder and Mountain Lightning :)
-Peanut Butter walmart cookies mmmmm
Ahh, but I think that's it. I can't really remember. OH yea and I bought some saltines. I'm really proud of myself. I even washed clothes today and picked up my dog from my grammys. I took her swimming in the pool and now she's so worn out she's sleeping on the couch. Plus, I remembered to give my kitty it's insulin shot and turn on the pool filter and feed the fish. I'm pretty good with this living alone stuff, I just don't like being alone all the time. It was scary sleeping in bed at night, I kept on waking up. I fell asleep to some movie on TNT. I wish I didn't miss "The Wedding Planner" I always did like that movie.
I have to work at seven tonight, so I'll probably just chill until I have to go. It's like romance weekend on TNT so maybe i'll zone out in front of the tv. I've been reading the Divine secrets of the Ya-Ya sisterhood. It's a really good book so maybe i'll do that too. I haven't seen the movie yet. I hate seeing the movies of the books I read. I read 'A walk to remember' and the book was better than the movie. Same with "Where the heart is". Or whatever that book was called.
Yesterday Joe, Mike, Val and myself went to the New Brighton Car Cruise. It brought back my childhood memories. I do love old cars. I wish we could've taken out my Dad's because that makes it ten times better. But, the entire world knows that I can't drive, which means my dad would never let me take out that car ! Plus they're not home so that's never good. I just remember going to car cruises on the weekends or to Midway. I never liked them before, but I was young, you know. Last year Josh took me to one at Midway in his car. That was the last one I went to until this one.
